Be part of the 2nd edition of the Web3 Hackathon event in Puerto Rico, promoting the mass adoption of Blockchain and Web3 technologies.

Everybody is invited to this open event, which is intended to promote the mass adoption of Web3 Technologies. You may attend as a spectator if you are interested in blockchain technologies.It is recommended to have at least two(2) software developers per team, but other specialists are welcome (Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, etc.). There is a maximum of four (4) members per team. Over $20,000 in cash prizes!The PRBTA, IEEE, and Evolving Space will partner with The Opportunity Project (TOP) from Census Open Innovation Labs in the U.S. Census Bureau to leverage TOP Puerto Rico problem statements and federal data sets in this collaboration. The Web3 hackathon will anchor in the following problem statements/challenges:(1) Building Community and Individual Climate Resilience. (Federal Emergency Management Agency)(2) Helping Communities Access Infrastructure Grant Funding. (White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and U.S. Department of Commerce)(3) Enhancing Children’s Resilience to Adversity in Puerto Rico. (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Instituto del Desarrollo de la Juventud)Projects should include some or all of the following concepts:Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)Decentralized Finance (DeFi)Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs)Gaming ConceptsS﻿ponsor challenges will be revealed on the opening ceremony.T﻿ake a look at the highlights of our last Web3 Hackathon, celebrated from Aug 25th - 28th of 2022.
