Join us in Sydney for 3 days of computational neuroscientific hacking at the Australasia Hub of Brainhack Global 2022

<p>This year's <a href="https://brainhack-aus.github.io/global2022/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Australasia Hub for Brainhack Global</a> will be in-person for the very first time! We shall be hacking on all kinds of brain and open-science related projects at the University of Sydney.</p><p><strong>About</strong></p><p>The purpose of <a href="https://brainhack.org/global2022/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Brainhack</a> is to bridge the data science and neuroscience research communities to advance the progress of neuroscience. Brainhack is a unique conference that convenes researchers from across the globe and myriad disciplines to work together on innovative projects related to neuroscience. You can read more about the Brainhack meetings from our recent <a href="https://www.cell.com/neuron/fulltext/S0896-6273(21)00231-2?_returnURL=https%3A%2F%2Flinkinghub.elsevier.com%2Fretrieve%2Fpii%2FS0896627321002312%3Fshowall%3Dtrue" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">paper in Neuron</a>.</p><p><strong>Australasia Hub</strong></p><p>We will be meeting for 3 full days of hacking from Wed Nov 30th - Fri Dec 2nd. Bring your own project to work on with the community, or join up with any of the local or international projects that are part of Brainhack Global 2022. If you'd like a flavour of what gets done at Brainhack, you can find a list of last year's projects <a href="https://brainhack.org/global2021/projects/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.</p><p>If you are new to coding, data-science or neuroscience, no problem! All projects are tailored so that there is something to do for everyone, no matter your level of coding knowledge. Brainhack is a great place to gain skills by working on collaborative projects with the community.</p><p><strong>Code of Conduct</strong></p><p>Brainhack Global is dedicated to a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. Our anti-harassment policy can be found <a href="https://brainhack.org/code-of-conduct.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.</p><p><strong>Registration</strong></p><p>Registration is $25 for the full 3 days. Lunch, morning teas and coffee will be included, thanks to our generous sponsorship from the <a href="https://anif.org.au/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">National Imaging Facility</a>. However, please contact us if you lack funding and you would still like to attend, as both bursaries and volunteer positions are available. We don't want the registration fee to prohibit anyone from attending, so please do get in touch if that's the case for you.</p><p></p>
