Salmagundi Club

Salmagundi invites all our members, patron of the arts, and guests to attend our reception for the SCNY Pastels showcase. Pastels have been used by artists since the Renaissance, gaining popularity in the 18th century. This medium is unique for its versatility; able to create both drawings or painterly works depending on the technique of its user. Whether using dry or oil pastels, this will be a showcase of open subject, focusing on artists’ use of this medium in representational art.More info: https://salmagundi.org/2022-pastels-showcase/Join us for refreshments and mingling amongst a display of fine art from talented artists. Stay for the award ceremony to see this year’s award winners!Soft drinks and platters will be provided for your enjoyment. If desired, Salmagundi's Wiggins bar will be open on the lower level for purchase of wine and beer (card only, no cash).
