Fishackathon is an epic, global <A HREF="http://about.hackernest.com/hackathons-for-recruiting/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">hackathon</A> to help make Earth's waters, aquaculture, and fisheries more sustainable &amp; equitable. Simultaneously in cities all round the world, teams will spend the weekend competing to build tech solutions to real ocean problems posed by experts. 
At our event in Auckland, we will have on hand expert mentors to help you get to grips with the problems.
There are massive prizes in the global competition, but also valuable prizes that must be won by local teams: $5000 USD in AWS credits, $3000 NZD in cash from <A HREF="https://www.giftofthegulf.org.nz/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Foundation North/GIFT of the Gulf</A> and the <A HREF="http://www.dta.mil.nz/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Defence Technology Agency</A>, plus facilities and support from <A HREF="https://gridakl.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="GridAKL" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">GridAKL</A>.
