High School Tech Workshop 

LaunchNET Kent State University

During Kent State University's annual Fashion Tech Hackathon weekend, LaunchNET Kent State, Hacksu, and The Research Center for Educational Technology (RCET) will be hosting a tech workshop for high school students (7th-12th grade) to teach website construction, Arduino use, 3D Modeling/VR and more.<A CLASS="active" HREF="https://www.kent.edu/rcet" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> </A>
RCET: The overall mission of RCET is to serve as the University and College’s flagship center for research, policy, and practice related to cutting-edge technologies in teaching and learning. Such technologies have included 3D, mobile learning, online and blended learning, games and simulations, and virtual reality.
Hacksu: Hacksu is a student organization at Kent State University focused on learning and utilizing contemporary web and mobile technologies. We are a very diverse community, spanning multiple majors from Fashion Design to Zoology and are open to students of any skill level. Everyone is welcome.
