Silverback is organizing a hackathon in favor of the Belgian charity event "De Warmste Week" (The Hottest Week) and Light for the World.
Light for the World is an international disability and development organisation whose vision is an inclusive society where no one is left behind. Light for the World strives for accessible eye care services and support inclusive education, empowering persons with disabilities to participate equally in society in Rwanda, Congo and Tanzania.
During the hackathon we will try to find solutions for the everyday problems that an organisation like Light for the World face on a daily bases. How to be able to better track people who need eye care? How to help train people at local hospitals? How to raise awareness both locally as internationally? ...
Are you a developer, designer or creative enthousiast and you think you are up for the challenge? Then join us on december 22th at 9am at the Marriott Hotel, Kigali. 
You can register different members of your team, or if you don't have any team members you can be partnered with other people on the day of the event.
After a day of hacking, at 6pm, every team will present their solution to the jury and we will announce the winners.
Prizes:
1st Place: 200 000 RWF
2nd Place: 100 000 RWF
