Our mission is to promote technology and innovation amongst youth of all ages and backgrounds, to raise awareness of education for underprivileged children, and to introduce young adults to opportunities to serve the world via technology and innovation.

Located in the Bay Area, San Ramon is surrounded by people working in the tech industry. Why not host a hackathon to bring them together to solve the city’s challenges? Their creativity and experience can help build apps, products, and ideas that benefit the community! This was the thought from a high school student inspired by a hackathon he attended at a nearby county. This initiative received an enthusiastic response from the Mayor’s office. Jointly organized by the City, Green Apple Education Foundation, and Bishop Ranch Innovation Intelligence Accelerator, the inaugural San Ramon Hackathon will be held on April 7th, 2018. The event is open to all in the Bay Area. Bring your brilliant and innovative ideas to reality and solve the challenge described below!

The city of San Ramon is seeking ways to improve its emergency preparedness. There have been major emergencies recently, including fires in Napa/Sonoma and Southern California. There are also everyday emergencies, such as single house fires that disrupt citizens’ lives and put them in dire needs of resources and help. The Hackathon attendees should use technology to address this challenge. Examples include, but not limited to:
