A hackathon expanding gender diversity in tech. This is an in person event in Minneapolis at the SPS Commerce office.

Calling all women, non-binary, and trans people! Do you have any interest in the tech industry? Do you have an interest in innovation? Are you a developer, designer, ideator, or all of the above? Then this event is for you. Join us at SPS Commerce on September the 17th and 18th for a weekend of hacking fun. This is a great opportunity to network with potential employers and show off your skills!Team PrizesFirst place: $1,500Second place: $1,000Third place: $750A﻿genda: KICK OFF + WORKING SESSION - Saturday, September 178:45 am - Doors open. Coffee, pastries and fruits will be available9am - Connect, eat and team formation. Most people will form teams at this time but if you came as a group that’s totally okay too! 9:45am - Begin working on projects!12pm - Lunch is provided5pm - Light dinner is provided - you can leave earlier if you’d like. Just communicate this with your team.6pm - End of day!WORKING SESSION + DEMO DAY - Sunday, September 188:45 am - Doors open. Coffee, pastries and fruits will be available9am - Finish working on your projects!12pm - Lunch/Get ready for demos!1pm - Demos start2:30pm - Prizes/wrap upA few additional notes: Food: Breakfast, lunch and a light dinner will be provided so all you have to do is focus on your project!Transportation: Parking: Underground parking ramp is located between 3rd and 4th Avenues on 8th Street. The entrance to the ramp is on the left-hand side of 8th street. The garage door will open as you approach. If you need assistance, or the garage door does not open, press the button on the intercom for security assistance.Parking under the building will be validated (free)- SPS Commerce is near the bus line and transit line. If you bike, you'll be able to keep your bike in the building.
