<H2><EM>All it takes to inspire a girl into STEM is one life-changing interaction. </EM></H2>
<P>That's why we have organisied our first all female Youth Hack! A 2 day coding competition where you get to try coding in a friendly environment with professional mentors, but also get inspired by real women in tech sharing their journeys. Through sharing, we all find a common ground, inspiration, hope, meaning, and, ultimately, action.</P>

<H2>Who is this for?</H2>
<P><EM><EM>This event is for 11-18 year olds (not yet at uni). We will need an emergency contact name and number to allow you</EM> to<EM> stay unaccompanied.</EM></EM></P>
<H2>What do I need?</H2>
<P>You just need to bring a laptop and some enthusiasm and be ready to work with other people. <EM>(We do have a limited number of PC's we can loan out, let us know when reserving your ticket)</EM></P>

<P>A 2 day fun team coding competition to test and challenge your digital skills and creativity with prizes. </P>
<P>Companies set challenges and offer prizes for the best hack. This doesn't just mean the best code - its about working well as a team, being willing to learn and daring to fail...</P>

<H2>Do I need to know how to code?</H2>
<P><SPAN>This is a fun event where the aim is to work together, learn and produce something cool. If you've never coded or attended an event like this before, don't worry - there'll be friendly mentors on hand to help you out.</SPAN></P>

<H2>Youth Hack Rules</H2>

<P>Teams of 4 (You don't have to come as a team unless you want to. Teams will be put together at the start of day 1)</P>

<P>Pick a challenge - these will be released before the hackathon takes place</P>

<P>Come prepared with ideas</P>

<P>You have two days to develop and present a working digital product or solution for your chosen challenge</P>

<P>Be creative and respectful of others ideas</P>
