B Local PDX is hosting a two-hour, in person session to provide peer sharing and expert assistance in B Corp certification. Bring your laptops, bring your questions, and be ready to make progress!Whether you’re familiar with the assessment or this is your first real opportunity to dig in with your company, this is the space to allocate your team’s dedicated time to measuring your B Impact score—all while learning some best practices to aid in certification! We can help identify low-hanging fruit, build next steps, and suggest certification tools and resources to help you chart a path to 80 points—and beyond.Best of all? It’s free. We’re here to help!<h3>Who should attend this event?</h3>This event is open to anyone interested in making progress on their company’s B Impact Assessment for B Corp certification or recertification. We invite the person or people working on the B Impact Assessment to join us- bring your team and use this time to make progress on impact improvement! Register once as a team and let us know how many people will be joining you. <h3>What you’ll walk away with</h3>We’ll have an optional B Corp 101 for those that need more background on the Certification process. The session will start with an introduction of B Local PDX and local business consultants and a short presentation on ways to work on certification. The remaining majority of the event will be time to work in your company groups. There will be experts and consultants in the room available to talk through questions, share resources, and help you get unstuck! It’s helpful to get to know others who are working on certification - you can learn a lot and support each other during this session!Questions? We envision a world in which businesses succeed through stewardship to their community and the environment.<ul><li>Rebecca Goldcrump has been on a journey from Numbers to Humans - from CPA to Social Impact Strategist to Integral Coach. She’s committed to using her business and coaching skills to make a positive impact in the world, by helping mission driven organizations and humans strategically maximize their impact</li><li>Sarah Holdeman thinks about &quot;growth” in everything she does, including how to grow mission-driven organizations’ impact. From designing micro-marketing strategy to analyzing social platform market trends, she is a forward thinker and a passionate operator. As a member of the B Local Board, she uses these skills to help grow the B Corp movement in the Pacific Northwest. Her experience in many industries - from food and beverage to tech to healthcare, allows her to bring an innovative approach to projects in service of helping organizations reach their goals.</li></ul>B Local PDX <ul><li>Rose Lavelle (Certifications Chair) Enjoys working on the B Impact Assessment and talking B Corp anytime.
