<h1>It's happening! UXCamp DC in person!</h1><p>UXCamp DC is the event for people who are passionate about design. Spend your day with a passionate community designers as we explore the world of design and create meaningful connections in an relaxing environment. It's an energizing day of discussions, presentations and interactions with people who love design.</p><h2>What is UXCamp DC?</h2><p>Break out of the norm of traditional conferences. UXCamp DC is a one-day, multi-track unconference that provides an open platform for people to discuss topics, share ideas, while actively engaging each other. The session topics are shaped by the attendees, not the organizers.</p><p>It is a unique opportunity for attendees to have their voices heard, discover new voices and discuss new ideas. </p><h2>Who should attend?</h2><ul><li>CEOs and design leaders interested in building a design team </li><li>Beginners thinking about how to start their career in design </li><li>Mid-career designers exploring how to advance their careers </li><li>Seasoned professionals and thought leaders looking to share their experiences </li><li>Anyone interested in design</li></ul><h2>What topics can I present in session?</h2><p>That's completely up to you. <em>It can be a  traditional presentation with slides, a panel or group discussion, or an interactive workshop.</em> The only limitation is the  45 minutes per session and no obvious product promotion or sales pitches. Don't be shy. People in the UXCamp community are friendly  and welcoming.</p><h2>Do I have to present?</h2><p>No. Just enjoy the day and learn a lot!</p><h1>We want to keep you safe</h1><p>We understand the concerns of our community about the health and safety risks posed by Covid-19. Masks are optional for individuals who have had a negative Covid-19 test within the past 5 days.
