Sponsored by <A HREF="https://www.bdc.ca/en/bdc-capital/venture-capital/pages/venture-capital.aspx" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BDC</A>, and in collaboration with <A HREF="http://donnees.ville.montreal.qc.ca/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ville de Montreal</A> and <A HREF="http://www.ceim.org/en/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CEIM</A>, <A HREF="http://mcgill-innovation.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BETA - The McGill Innovation Collective</A> and the <A HREF="https://www.mcgill.ca/cscds/category/tags/csdcs" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Centre for Social and Cultural Data Science</A> are hosting a data-oriented hackathon focused on working with civic datasets, as one of the many events in McGill Innovation Week. 
Attendees will be working with Montreal's datasets on issues relevant (and important) to the city. Unlike typical hackathons, which heavily weigh software engineering, this hackathon will focus on using data analysis to empower the public/decision makers around an issue of value to the city of Montreal. 
Prizes, swag, learning, and fun times abound!
