Tech Lady Hackathon #5

Tech Lady Hackathon was founded in 2013 and led for three years byLeah Bannonto get more women in tech. This year's organizers areAlexis Johnson-Gresham,Jess Garson,Joy Whitt, andKate Rabinowitz, who have all experienced important tech firsts at previous Tech Lady Hackathons and are excited to continue the tradition. Doors open at 9am. Feels a little early? There's a <A HREF="http://lyft.com/invite/techlady17" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">special Lyft discount</A> to get you there faster. You can show up anytime, but we recommend coming before 11am, when there will be volunteers at the door ready for you. 
Dress comfy! Computers are encouraged, but not required.
We'll be serving breakfast, coffee, tea, and lunch.

Tech Lady Hackathon #5 is a gathering of hundreds of DC area women for a day of friendly learning and hacking. Coders, tech strategists, newbies, nerds, and the curious are all welcome! 
There will be workshops, discussion groups, and hacking projects all day long. More than just a day of tech, Tech Lady Hackathon is a day of community building and there will be many opportunities for mentoring and connecting with the rest of the awesome women in attendance.
Everyone who does not identify as a man is invited.
