Amid what Fortune magazine has described as the "numismatic delirium" surrounding Bitcoin, Ethereum and the proliferance of Cryptocurrencies today, it's easy to overlook the long-term impact of the blockchain technology that uses consensus validation and complex mathematics, to sequence and verify cryptographically secured, "trusted" digital transactions to provide the foundational underpinnings for trust in these digital currencies.
 
Beyond this initial purpose, blockchain and distributed ledger tools are being developed to help assure data-integrity and ownership, easily maintain auditable records, and to secure contractual agreements.

Steve Beauregard. Prior to joining Bloq as Chief Revenue Officer, Steve was founder and CEO of GoCoin. In his four-(4) year tenure running the world’s highest transaction volume Blockchain payment processor, Steve gained unparalleled insights into consumer spending behaviors and best practices of global merchants to drive adoption. Steve has a diverse 25-years of pioneering technologies bringing Internet, messaging, mobile, eCommerce and fintech solutions to large enterprise clients and gov’t agencies. Steve has delivered keynote speeches around the globe at mobile, eCommerce, Fintech and Blockchain events and is a frequent guest speaker at prominent universities including USC Marshall School of Business, UCLA Anderson School of Management, Pepperdine, Chapman, Harvard, and the University of Oxford, Säid School of Business (UK).
 
Sheri Kaiserman, Head of Advanced Securities Division, Wedbush. With over 25-years of equity sales and leadership experience, Sheri moved into her current role with Wedbush to further build the firm's Blockchain/Bitcoin initiatives, including raising money for Wedbush's early stage VC fund dedicated to investing in Blockchain enabled companies.
 
Stanislav Synko, CTO, Cryptix. Stan has been active in the software industry for 10-years, including 5-years building distributed teams, running a blockchain consultancy, and as a systems architect for entrepreneurs specializing in Hyperledger blockchain. He was Principal architect of the winning solution at IBM Blockchain Hackathon, and has hosted a workshop on the topic at Harvard Innovation Labs and a seminar at Rutgers University Business School. Stan joined the Cryptix team as CTO & Architect, to spearhead their technical work on a platform to provide enhanced security and digital contract capabilities in the event ticketing “arena”.
