Hack the Now & Next Hackathon: ARKit Edition!
With the release of Apple’s ARKit, the world of Augmented Reality is now accessible to everyone! Add “superpowers” to your apps by overlaying digital elements on the world around you. How would that new couch look in your apartment? What’s your favorite cake decorating idea to try out? Surprise a friend with a 3D Gif?
Calling everyone to create and ideate new and exciting AR applications! Spend the weekend discovering and creating alongside fellow innovators at Ratio’s Hack the Now & Next Hackathon: ARKit Edition. We’ll have Ratio technologists on hand to help guide you along the way. Team up with a few friends or meet new ones to build something cool and reach millions of people!
Friday, October 6th- Kickoff Party

8-10pm Pitch ideas, assemble teams, get started!
Saturday, October 7th- The Hackathon

Does it cost anything?
$10 per participant to cover food & drinks
Who should come? 
People who are curious about Apple’s ARKit. We encourage you to do research prior to the event & early registrants will be invited to our Hackathon Slack channel for nuggets of wisdom!
Teams or Individuals? 
Team size 1 to 5
Do I need to know have previous experience developing for augmented reality? 
Excitement, passion, enthusiasm; these are the primary ingredients to bring; but each team will need development know-how.
What equipment do I need? 
You will need a Mac and an iOS device with at least an A9 chip that is running iOS 11.
