UJ Technopreneurship in collaboration with QuidPro and CVVC is hosting a Blockchain Innovation Bootcamp &amp; Hackathon. This event aims to promote skills development and instill an entrepreneurship mindset focusing on Blockchain technologies and its applications in cryptocurrency. In addition we aim to cover theory, applications, and action learning through gaming, simulations, and case studies.Since UJ is at the forefront of the 4IR initiatives, it is necessary to promote creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills development around Blockchain, cryptocurrency, and its use-cases. With the emergence of Blockchain technology transforming the financial landscape and challenging the traditional business models, as well as the role of commercial banks, it may be essential to address some of the gaps in the traditional business models, including access, speed, cost, transparency, and security.
