Use Artificial Intelligence and open data to solve social problems! Gathering all innovators with their ideas to solve daily social problems with AI implementation and technology.

- NPO for female engineer (<A HREF="https://femalegeek.id/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FemaleGeek</A>) - VC backed co-working space (<A HREF="https://evhive.co/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">EV Hive</A>)  - Private company for reporting platform (<A HREF="http://qlue.co.id/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Qlue</A>)
GRID think the concept of this event "AI for social problem" is too huge to make it good event just for a day.
Then they are going to hold this event Ideathon on 18th August as a second step following the Meetup on 2nd August.
 
Program:
- Ice breaking (interview, introduce other to other, name for the team) 
- Input seminar (GRID, Qlue, JSC)
"Introduction about AI and case study of AI in real world" - Takamine Takino from GRID Inc.
"Social problem in Jakarta and the vision for digital transformation to solve it with opendata" - JSC and Qlue
- Idea generation: IDEA = social problem X business industry X AI (Pair and team) 
- Discuss business model: Business model campus (team) 
- UI image making
- Voting
- Small award
- Closing seminar
 
Important Dates:
 
• 18th August: IDEATHON (7pm - 9.30pm)
• 16th September: HACKATHON (10am - 6pm)
 
Details:
 
• Purpose
We are gathering innovative ideas to implement AI for social problem. Dedicated candidate who has passion to solve social problem with technology is preferable.
• Objective
Gather top 20 ideas and make at least three products.
• Process
A.  Meetup (Pre-seminar) 2nd August
- JSC will give some insight about social problem.  
- Qlue will give a presentation about opendata. - GRID will explain the general information about AI and case study. 
- Candidate starts developing just after registration.
B. Registration and MVP development: 14th August – 7th September
- You will select category such as traffic jam, flood or others (corruption, garbage, etc).
- What kind of problem you want to solve, what kind of idea do you have for it what about the technical/business ability in your team.
C. Pre-event and Ideathon: 18th August 
You still can't register your idea? No worry, we will give you the idea framework to create business idea.
JSC, Qlue and GRID will give the presentation again.
D.  Submission: 5th August – 7th September
Submission chance is only once. Please submit the proposal (ppt) and MVP (web-based or mobile-based). When you submit, you have to pay Rp. 100,000/team.
E.  Selection: 7th – 8th September
Organizers will be selecting the innovative ideas from bunch of ideas. Only the team which is selected can go forward to next step, hackathon.
F.  Hackathon - Development: 16th September
You will be mentored by GRID data scientists before the pitch.
G.  Pitch and evaluation: 16th September
- You will give three minutes pitch for judges. 
- After the pitch there will be the Q & A session. 
- Ideas will be evaluating by expert, Gov’t, women community, startup, accelerator and citizen. 
- Judge criteria is feasibility, creativity, sustainability, social impact, user-friendly and teamwork.
• Award for hackathon 
• JSC & EV Hive: Provide 4 slots in JSC Hive
• GRID: Hire winner as the data scientist/product developer 
• Qlue: Work as an intern
