Volunteer Hackathon for Techtonica Program

Many wonderful recommendations have been made on how to make Techtonica's full-time program better, and we need your help to build out those ideas so our students can benefit from the best training possible. Please join us on Saturday, July 15th to contribute!
Schedule: 10 AM: Arrive, hear a bit about the program and the needs 10:30 AM: Separate into groups and begin work 1:00 PM: Break and networking 2:00 PM: Back to work 4:30 PM: Submit progress and wrap-up    5 PM: Time to go home!
Some subjects that need your help: How to Learn, Growth Mindset, How to Pair Program, Dev Tools Setup, Command Line, Intro to Command Line Interface Tools, Collaborating with Git, Using GitHub, Giving Presentations, UI/UX, Sass, Conflict Resolution, Request/Response, Diversity and Inclusion, Databases, Project Management, Documentation, Deploying, Testing, React, Web Patterns, Interviewing, Refactoring, Popular Tools, Socioeconomic Differences, Open-Source Projects, Entrepreneurship, Optimization & Runtime Complexity, Financial Literacy, Personal Career Branding

There will be snacks in the kitchen, but for something more substantial, please bring a lunch. (Alternatively, if you or your company would like to sponsor lunch for this event, please let us know.) If you're not in the Bay Area, but would still like to help, let us know and we'll give you a remote assignment.
