Join us for the Social Justice Hackathon 2017 bringing all generations together to learn the basics of coding while creating apps that address the challenges of social justice activism in the United States. Join students, designers, developers, teachers, parents, activists, visionaries, entrepreneurs and YOU for a day of cross-generational brainstorming for social justice activism. 
Closing out the Social Justice Hackathon 2017 are socially-conscious award-winning short films screening from the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival 2016 and SpeedCollab networking with actors, filmmakers, writers and the hackathon participants.

Must be 13 and older.
 What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Free parking is available at the Santa Monica College - The Bundy Campus, 3171 South Bundy Drive, Los Angeles, California.
 What can I bring into the event?
Bring a WiFi-enabled device - laptop, tablet  and/or cell phone
 How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
