SAF CIO/A6The Office of Information Dominance and Chief Information Officer's (SAF/CIO A6) mission is to integrate Air Force, Air Space and Cyberspace Information and system into the joint fight. This is accomplished by directing policy and advocating for resurces to provide secure, reliable, and timely information to the Joint Warfighter.Montgomery AFCEA Chapter - Education FoundationThe Montgomery AFCEA Chapter is the premiere information technology organization in the River Region. AFCEA members work hard to create a positive impact in the Montgomery area by raising funds that are used for individual scholarships and internships, technology grants to local schools, and investment in regional initiatives to help build a world class technical workforce.The MontgomeryAFCEAChapter Education Foundation's mission is to support development of engineers and technical personnel through selective motivational awards, prizes and scholarships, grants for educational activities of unique and high value and professional educational programs.  The Foundation actively promotes opportunities for persons from groups under-represented in the fields of its interests.

SAF CIO A6 in partnership with theMontgomery AFCEAChapter - Education Foundation

Held in conjunction with AFITC, innovateAFITC is a hackathon where members of government, industry, Cyber Patriots and students collaborate and network together to discuss the national problems we face today. Diverse, multi-skilled teams will compete by presenting solutions to Air Force and local government, senior leadership and key stakeholders. This competition will enable IT professionals from all IT backgrounds such as network communications, cyber security, software development, design, and STEM to quickly collaborate, form bonds of Wingmanship, and share skills and experience. By tapping into the expertise across functional and organizational lines, residents of the community and the Air Force can leverage talent right in their backyard, bringing the nation’s cyberpower capabilities to new heights through collaborative innovation!
