SWAHILI BOXThe Technology Open Space in Mombasa, Kenya which focuses on socio-economic technology empowerment, inspiring and developing individuals and help them develop new and innovative ideas through networking, access to training and support and professional mentoring and coaching.It brings together investors, donors, entrepreneurs, experts, artists, and other individuals and provides them with an opportunity to share knowledge, learn, find mentors and expound on their talents, abilities and innovative ideas that will lead to the development of Mombasa, Kenya and be replicated globally

Swahili Box

UN Habitat and Swahili Box are giving the young people of Mombasa a chance to make their County and their City beautiful, resilient and the place to be.
Are you a creative problem solver? are you a patriot? Do you have ideas? Do you have products or services that you feel will help Mombasa achieve these things - then we are looking for you.
The hackathon will run for two days on May 20th and 21st - Judges will select promising ideas in each category who will undergo a one month coaching, mentorship and product support prior to receiving prizes.
