About the Latvian Startup Association StartinLV The association was founded in 2016 with the aim of establishing a community of startups and other companies, as well as organisations supporting the industry. Latvian Startup Association <A HREF="http://startin.lv/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Startin.LV</A> and <A HREF="http://www.liaa.gov.lv/en" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">LIAA</A> invite you to participate in <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/events/1839868129595130/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Startup Slalom Ventspils IT</A> hackathon, which will take place from 9th to 11th of June in Ventspils University, Ventspils. Hakatona goal is to promote a formation of an innovative and technology-based ideas among young people, and to encourage young entrepreneurs to test their business skills and develop business ideas. 
 
Topic: IT solutions - everything that has to do with mobile applications, Internet platforms and other information and communication technology tools. Specific topic Participants can choose themselves.
Prize: 1000 EUR from HansaMatrix and free tickets to the conference Tech Open Air Berlin.
Participants: students of different areas, information technology specialists, programmers, designers, as well as marketing and project management experts, authors of business ideas and young entrepreneurs.
