Two years ago, Laurence moved to Oxford and set up <A STYLE="cursor: pointer; animation-duration: 0.1s; animation-name: fontfix; animation-iteration-count: 1; animation-timing-function: linear; animation-delay: 0.1s;" HREF="http://extropy.io/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Extropy.io</A>, a consultancy working with start-ups in the UK and overseas, developing applications on the Ethereum platform. He brings with him a wealth of real world experience that he loves to share with those new to this area in a way that business and non-technical users can understand.

During that time, Stephen has worked at some of the world’s largest companies and gained a breadth of experience; from developing websites that are clicked on millions of times per day through to working on applications that help Portfolio Managers manage portfolios containing $100's million of assets.

From that point in history, he has been researching more into the underlying technology and attending Blockchain Hackathons and workshops. At the beginning of 2017, Stephen joined a leading Blockchain Consultancy called <A STYLE="cursor: pointer; animation-duration: 0.1s; animation-name: fontfix; animation-iteration-count: 1; animation-timing-function: linear; animation-delay: 0.1s;" HREF="http://extropy.io/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Extropy.io</A> working with international clients, where he has been helping to produced research papers about ICO regulation and digital currencies, write, build and deploy Smart Contracts and create web-based Decentralized Applications.
