<H2>What is "Android @RUB Hackathon"?</H2>
<P>Come and show off your Android developing skills, maybe learn some new tricks and meet likeminded people in a full-day programming challenge, where the winners take home the big prize.</P>
<P>You will be developing Android apps under the general theme: <STRONG>Audio &amp; Video Android Implementation</STRONG>.</P>
<P>Just <STRONG>register</STRONG> until the <STRONG>29th of May,</STRONG> using the button to the right and that's it, you're in!</P>
<H2>Who can participate?</H2>
<P>Everyone is welcomed to the event, from coders to graphical designers, from project managers to creative people, in general, anyone who is interested in helping create an Adroid App. You don't necesarily need any previous Android development experience, our main idea is to form teams where everybody cand fit in, and bring their own contribution.</P>
<H2>Should I prepare?</H2>
<P>This hackathon is aimed at begginer developers, so if you want to be the coder in your team but you haven't started with Android yet or you just want to refresh you knowledge, you can follow the tutorials bellow and you will have enough skills to enter our event:</P>

<H2>When and where?</H2>
<P>The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 03.06.2017 from 09:00 to 21:00 in the ID building of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, at level 2, room 2/201. </P>

<H2>How does this work?</H2>
<UL>
<LI>You first have to register for the event, using the register button to the upper right.</LI>
<LI>You must show up to the event, preferably on time, as we start no later than 09:00.</LI>
<LI>On the morning of the event, you will group yourselves into teams of your choosing.</LI>
<LI>For those of you without a pre-planned team, random teams will be created.</LI>
<LI>Each team can have between 1 and 3 members.</LI>
<LI>You will then get specific details about the Android app that you will develop.</LI>
<LI>Developing starts at 10:00.</LI>
<LI>You can choose any programming language and environment you like.</LI>
<LI>You can use any means available for developing.</LI>
<LI>Developing ends at 19:00.</LI>
<LI>Teams present their apps, and the judges designate the winners.</LI>
<LI>Award ceremony and party.</LI>

<H2>What should I bring?</H2>

<LI>A computer, preferably with preinstalled development tools (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-k5gwz_91o).</LI>
<LI>Android smartphone or tablet (at least one for each team) to deploy the project on.</LI>
<LI>The charging cable of the smartphone or tablet, so that you can connect it to the computer.</LI>
<LI>A pair of headphones (at least one for each team).</LI>
</UL>
<H2>What can I find there?</H2>

<LI>WiFi and LAN Internet.</LI>
<LI>Coffee, water and soft drinks.</LI>
<LI>Snacks and pizza.</LI>
<LI>A panel of judges from industry and academia.</LI>
