Join us at Galvanize on May 4th as we explore some incredible solutions to the questions of how to optimize your data. The evening will be jam packed with tacos, Ratio Beerworks, Star Wars (May the 4th be with you), and IBM Data Solutions! 
This exciting evening will have an all-star lineup of speakers from SendGrid and NVIDIA showing us how they’re solving big data problems in incredibly innovative and creative ways.

Then, we will set you loose to apply your newly acquired skills in an exciting and collaborative hackathon to solve real world problems!

Victor is a Data Scientist at <A HREF="http://sendgrid.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SendGrid</A>, the world's first cloud based email platform. SendGrid delivers over a billion emails per day and generates petabytes of data each year. At SendGrid, Victor manages data science products that enhance email deliverability, stop spam, phish, and other abuse, and generally help important messages get to where they’re going. He’s currently thinking a lot about aha moments.
 
After graduating cum laude from Princeton University, Victor founded an Internet security company, and later went on to publish on statistical genetics as a bioinformatician at the University of Florida. Victor holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Northwestern University, where he studied quantum confinement and applications of machine learning to small molecule discovery.

Eric is a Data Scientist and Solutions Architect for <A HREF="http://nvidia.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NVIDIA</A> with a focus on deep learning for enterprise. Before NVIDIA he was the Lead Data Scientist for DISH Media Sales and before entering industry he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Low-Dimensional Topology at McMaster University and the University of Quebec at Montreal.
