The hackathon: Biggest international initiative
The International Space Apps Challenge is the world's biggest mass collaboration focused on Space and Earth exploration that takes place over 48-hours in more than 150 cities around the world with 15.000 participants across 6 continents.  
Opportunity to work with:  NASA scientists, Corporates, Startups, Innovators
Due to its MainStage position the participants in Silicon Valley this year will get opportunity to work together with NASA scientists, astronauts and engineers, along with mentors from academia and corporate partners.
This year category challenges: Earth
In spite of the name, this hackathon is much more than just apps. There will be challenges that involve robotics, data visualization, hardware, design, and many other elements! Participating teams will be competing to enter among the 6 global winning teams that will visit NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida by end of 2017 and witness a real rocket launch into Space.

This event represents a unique opportunity to bring your efforts and ideas in front of local and international audience and to win the attention of NASA, ESA and some of the biggest commercial space companies and international investors and venture funds.
