XapiX and PwC are partnering up to host #PowerOfAPIs online hackathon (<A CLASS="details-meta-item-value" HREF="http://x.xapix.io/hackathon" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://x.xapix.io/hackathon</A>). To kick off the event, XapiX is hosting a workshops to help developers get onto the platform.
By the end of the workshop, you will have:
<UL>
<LI>a solid foundation in APIs</LI>
<LI>an understanding of current API landscape</LI>
<LI>made your own API</LI>
</UL>
Pain Point: Integrating with an external API is hard because documentation is not well written, format to find information is different per company, it's difficult to find endpoints. 
XapiX (<A HREF="http://xapix.io" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">xapix.io</A>) solves this problem by making it REALLY easy to integrate with an API or even make your own API. We are a small 10 person startup located in NYC and Berlin and we love giving back to the developer community, especially when we can teach a bit about APIs to you! 
 
Curriculum:
2:30pm-3:00 - Arrival! Don't be late! Email elizabeth@xapix.io when you have arrived
3:00pm-3:30pm - API overview 
3:30pm-4:30pm - Let's get to work and make a project! 
4:30pm-5:00 - Exploring the XapiX functionality 
Who are you: 
You're a curious developer with a power to ingest and create. At XapiX, we are not picky about our users -  you don't have to be a certain level of developer or professional. We believe anyone can create. 
Existing developers will find the XapiX PRO functionality easy to understand immediately.
