Data for Democracy Hackathon - Seattle

Data for Democracy looks for projects that have a strong collaborative nature, and leverage data and technology to create positive social impact. We engage in a mix of community-led projects, which are proposed and self-organized by Data for Democracy members, and partner-led projects, which involve more formal collaboration with city governments and local and international NGOs.

**Note** - Even though the event is full, we recommend you still RSVP and get yourself added onto the waitlist. We will be emailing out instructions on how you can participate remotely to everyone on the RSVP list and the waitlist!

Use your data and technology skills for good at the very first Data for Democracy hacakthon! Come along and join an active project using data for positive social impact or start a new one. This is open to everyone, even if you haven't been active in the <A HREF="http://datafordemocracy.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Data for Democracy</A> community.
The Hackathon will be happening from March 31 - April 2, both remotely and in person in cities across the country. Join us over the weekend in Seattle at Ada's Technical Bookshop, 425 15th Avenue East for hacking goodness!
- Fri 31st March, 6:30pm - 10pm - Project and team orientation (Programming Room @ Ada's) - Sat 1st April, 8am-10pm - Main hack day (The Lab @ Ada's) - Sun 2nd April, 8am-12pm - (The Lab @ Ada's)
Current projects on offer include:
Immigration Connect Collecting/visualizing data and building tools to support the work of the National Immigration Law Center (NILC).
