Generate and Wireless Club are excited to host our first-ever Hardware Hackathon: Club Snell Edition. While you’re slaving away over research papers and group projects at the lib, start brainstorming for Snell hacks that could make our lives a little easier. Whether it’s a headcounter for each floor or a tool that locates the nearest open printer to you, this is the weekend to bring your most creative and craziest ideas to life!
Don’t have a team of 2-4 people yet? No worries! Register for your event and you’ll have a chance to network and meet people to work with at our general meeting on Friday, March 31st. Hacking will commence on Saturday, April 1st and continue into the next afternoon.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and crowd favorite. We’re excited to have two faculty judges, Stephen Golden and Mark Sivak, and guest judge, Neil Lohana, from Formlabs who will be judging your creations on a rubric based on the following criteria: Design, Creativity, Impact and Presentation.
All necessary materials and meals will be provided for the weekend, but any extra components, materials or tools that aren’t on our list must be brought on your own.
