OVERVIEW
The Annual Cancer Research Symposium is a long-standing event that brings together the many talents and passions of investigators devoted to solving the problem of cancer across the entire spectrum from prevention to survivorship. This event introduces new faculty, features research by students, and promotes programmatic and multidisciplinary interactions.
The symposium highlights groundbreaking cancer research from within UC Davis and beyond. Focused sessions, which include invited keynote speakers, highlight artificial intelligence and data science; population sciences and health disparities research; basic science; clinical research; career development and training opportunities; and community outreach and engagement. Additionally, the event includes a Poster & Exhibition Session enabling early career and established scientists to share new and emerging equipment, services, and technologies and prizes rewarding innovative science relevant to cancer research, diagnosis, and/or treatment.
