We are happy to announce the in-person Hackathon 2022 signups are here!

The Mansion at Glen Cove

Some important notes:The session will be three full days, starting Wednesday, July 27th in the morning, and ending Friday, July 29st, in the afternoon.There will be NO In-Office event. Instead, we are offering a Commuter option for the Hackathon Offsite. Commuters will attend Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and will have lunch provided, but will not receive a hotel room.- Hackathon CommitteeZocdoc Hackathon FAQsWhat is a Hackathon?https://www.zocdoc.com/about/blog/tech/run-successful-hackathon/“To summarize, Hackathons at Zocdoc are run with the goal of innovation as well as camaraderie. Hackathons provide the opportunity to work on new technologies and tools outside of an engineer’s day-to-day responsibilities. As a bonus to attending a fun event, Zocdoc’ers get exposure and mingle with other teams they don’t normally work with on a day-to-day basis. Our engineering organization is constantly growing so it’s hard to get to know everybody, but Hackathon sure does help close that gap.”What will I work on if I'm an intern?<ul><li>Senior engineers will mentor interns on a specific project, so no need to think about one before you get here.</li></ul>Does it cost anything?<ul><li>No! (WATTTT)</li></ul>Do I have to go?No, but we highly encourage you to go because the majority of engineers will be at the Hackathon.What should I bring?<ul><li>Clothes</li><li>Swimwear (there is a pool)</li><li>Toiletries</li><li>Favorite board games (but Zocdoc has a lot)</li><li>Athletic clothes/shoes</li></ul>
