Reboot Reunion - Where We Go from Here

Reboot Democracy aims to find, fund, and incubate technology driven solutions to reinvigorate American democracy. Our core mission is to inspire people to use technology to build scalable tools that increase citizen participation in government and transform our political system into one that is truly representative and responsive to its citizens.Reboot Democracy achieves this mission by organizing hackathons and incubating winning teams, providing a bridge between entrepreneurs, technologists, policy leaders, investors, and resources including capital and advising.

Reboot Democracy

We are holding a Reboot Democracy Reunion on January 25th where we will host:  1) A showcase of the progress that has been made by various hackathon teams 2) Speakers sharing their experience in the tech+policy/gov space--lessons learned and ideas for ways to make a difference 3) Networking – an opportunity to connect with others and continue building the future Speakers include: *Jacky Chang, Hillary for America *David Evan Harris, Chancellor's Public Scholar, UC Berkeley; Founder, Governance Futures Lab, Institute for the Future *Keith Hiatt, Vice President of Human Rights Program, Benetech  *Chris Jerdonek, President of San Francisco Elections Commission; Co-founder of Shotwell Labs Reboot Democracy is committed to finding, fueling, and funding the best ideas that leverage technology to rejuvenate American democracy. We hosted our first hackathon in December and we are taking the next steps help nurture creative ways to solve the nation's political crisis. This event will be a forum for anyone interested in leveraging technology to solve political issues to come together to network, discuss ideas, and potentially form teams for future events. Come and learn what Reboot Democracy is doing to utilize the resources of the global tech community toward a better democracy for all and join us as we discuss what our next steps as concerned citizens should be and how to become more active and effective.  We are planning some incredible programs for 2017 and we'd love to have you involved - Looking forward to seeing you there!
