Schedule
Each day will start at 10 a.m. and run into the mid afternoon. We'll make adjustments as needed for weather, rider abilities, etc.
After each ride, you have the opportunity to receive recovery work from a licensed masssage therapist. You won't believe how great you feel.
Friday. Meet each other. Check your bike setups. Learn how your bike and body are made to work together. Group ride at SlickRock Trail. Focus will be riding up and down extremely steep things.
Saturday. Advanced cornering skills plus some sweet drills. Group ride at Klondike Bluffs trails. Focus will be pumping terrain and finding smooth Flow.
Sunday. Group shuttle ride on lower Whole Enchilada (from LPS down — the best stuff). Focus will be applying your new skills to this epic ride — and learning to Flow smoothly even when the trail is not smooth. Your shuttle fee will be covered.
What you will learn
I will teach you the Grand Unified Theory of Shred: an elegant, powerful approach to riding that makes everything you do easier, faster and better.
You can expect to learn the essentials of:
- Riding positions
- Braking
- Cornering
- Riding up steep things
- Riding down steep things
- Pumping terrain
- Dropping
- Jumping
- Reading trails
- Achieving FLOW
- And, most important, releasing your mind and experiencing deep, true joy.
The technical aspects of great riding are easy to learn. The biggest thing you'll get from this camp is the euphoria of escaping your mind and flowing with the group. I'll make sure you know how to take this ability home with you. It'll vastly improve your life both on and off the bike.
Check out my Mistress
I'll have some Mistress bikes you can try. You won't believe how they corner!
