<H2>What is Village Hack?</H2>
Village hack is an event by <A HREF="http://siliconblaze.co.ke" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">silicon blaze</A> in collaboration with Beyonde Labs<A HREF="http://kaziplus.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></A> to take tech action down to our villages.
We believe African villages have great talent that lay untapped. This is due to the tendency of most tech bootcamps only targeting urban areas.

Village hack targets to spread tech awareness in our rural areas.

<H3>How we do it</H3>
The event will be divided into 3 events:

<LI>
Ideation: Targets participants not interested in learning computer science but have awesome ideas they would love to build. The program solely focuses identifying a problem then creating ideas of possible solutions.
</LI>
<LI>
Bootcamp: Targets participants eager to learn to code. Will run  for a two day period. Participants are introduced to computer science basics using scratch. and at the end of the program are expected to have mastered the basics of computer science and ready to dive into more complex computer science content.
</LI>
<LI>
Hackathon: Will be held on the last day of the event. Participants will be involved in solving a challenge which will require them to utilise the skills they gained throughout the event.
