The one-of-a-kind 2016 <A HREF="http://botparty.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bot Party</A> Hackathon will mix a weekend of theatre arts and technology to produce open-source projects featured in recurring incarnations of the improvisational Bot Party <A HREF="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sqRcbTSqnY" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">live stage</A> show.  Bot Party Hackathon to be held over 48 hours:  Friday September 2 6PM to Sunday September 4 6PM at The Off Center in Austin, TX. This event is in partnership with Fusebox Festival and IEEE. 
Though Hackathon attendees will be encouraged to bring any of their own projects and ideas for collaborative, anything-goes creation, we will be focused on three specific areas of development: 
Blue Zone: Applied Robotics Software (Java, JavaScript, Ruby, C++, Python... !!) 
Red Zone: Electronics and Hardware (arduino and raspberry pi, junk, components and soldering irons) 
Yellow Zone: Live Gaming Station and Twitch feed (Ps4, Gamecube) 
 
and Bonus Zone: pizza, beer, tacos, bbq, GLORY\

Friday, September 2 6pm Registration 7pm Orientation and Project breakdowns 7:30pm Breakouts with experts 8:30pm Pitches and grouping 9pm Ribbon Cutting Robot &amp; start 11pm Twitch tournament Optional: stay overnight. If you plan to stay overnight, please let the organizers know where you’ll be working. We do not provide toiletries, linens, sleeping bags, etc.
Saturday, September 3 9am Registration 9:30am Team meetups/Orientation 10am Robot yoga 11am Twitch Tournament 2pm Robot demos 6pm Project checkin and demonstration Optional: stay overnight. Sunday, September 4 9am Registration 9:30am Team meetups/Orientation 10am Robot Church 3pm load-out begins 4pm Assembly and presentation 5pm Twitch feed of games 6pm Closing ceremony and awards
