Aggie Agora Hackathon: Amending the Constitution

The Texas A&M Agora (Aggie Agora) is a new tradition at Texas A&M University, established by the College of Liberal Arts in 2015. Its mission is to facilitate public discourse and civic engagement on the A&M campus and throughout the state of Texas.​​​​​ We support the University's Strengthening Democracy Initiative. ​​We are strictly non- partisan.We host regular Wednesday Workshops on fact-checking, difficult dialogues, political advertising, and campaign finance. Aggie Agora

Constitution Day Hackathon: Amending the Constitution. 
Attendees will work in teams to propose amendments to the US Constitution. Teams will make a presentation at the end of the day that describes the problem that the amendment will solve and argues for how and why their proposed amendment will solve the problem. Prizes will be awarded for the best proposals. 
Snacks will be provided all day. RSVP required.
