Description Learn how to build a world with Unity and inhabit the world with the HTC Vive Virtual Reality Kite. VR is here and right now is the best time to get involved. Join us this weekend, for an intensive three day VR bootcamp. We’ll teach you how to build fully functional VR experiences using Unity. You’ll learn how to build worlds, develop truly cross-platform VR experiences, and get introduced to the New York VR community. With a grounding in VR fundamentals, we'll explore the unique features of modern VR equipment and how to develop for each. We'll also cover and develop Augmented Reality and 360 Film with Unity®. This bootcamp is designed for beginners and intermediate Unity Devs. No prior experience is required for the bootcamp. Advanced developers will benefit from mentorship, advanced training and potential to win prizes. This weekend is going to be a ton of fun and all participants will be able to use Google's Project Tango - the most advanced tablet known to man. It's a prototype from Google, need we say more? All participants will learn how to develop for this amazing untethered room scale device! 
About the Teachers
Lex Dreitser
Lex is an award winning VR/AR developer. Over 90% of Virtual Reality is made with Unity®. Lex is likely the foremost Unity® expert in NYC. When he’s not deep in code, developing the future of VR/AR for major brands – he runs NYC VR University – an official Unity® meetup where he and his team teach the community how to make VR and AR – for free. He hosts a 360 video podcast for Unity® developers called Build and Run Build-Run.com. Join him on VRathon.com – an episodic iterative VR hackathon – where you’re able to participate through 360 video. What’s Provided

<LI>12:30pm -- 6:00pm: Create your own VR experience with semi-private tutoring with two certified Unity Developers. </LI>
