Philips & Plug and Play Student Hackathon August 12-13

We are excited to announce that Plug and Play, a tech startup accelerator in Silicon Valley, is co-hosting a Hackathon with Philips on August 12-13. Teams of 3-4 students will compete to create the best software solution to a B2B and B2C hardware problem. 
 
Friday, August 12
1:30  - Registration (for hackers) 
2:30  - Presentations by Philips &amp; Plug and Play
3:00 - Coders present their skill sets, pick their teams! 
3:30 - Let the coding begin!
Saturday, August 13
1:30 - 2:30 - Registration for other guests 
2:00  - Coding Stops (30-minute break, also time to finish pitches)
2:30 - Groups Present (5-minute pitches + Q&A)
3:30 - Keynote Speaker! Co-Founder of GameCommerce, Inc.
4:00 - Closing Remarks &amp; Winners Announced
4:15 - Reception and Networking

A few other important details: 
Food and drink will be provided free of charge. 
Bring your own air mattress or sleeping bag (if you plan to sleep!)
Although we encourage students, anyone is welcome to apply.
