DevMountain Hackathon

Devmountain is an industry-leading coding school that began in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains. Founded by fellow coders, Devmountain's expert faculty love sharing their craft and empowering the next wave of programmers and entrepreneurs. Devmountain brings affordability + the highest quality, hands-on education to the tech space whether learning in-person or online. There are many ways to get involved including networking events, workshops, part-time classes, and full-time immersive programs.

Welcome to the DevMountain quarterly Hackathon! Our Hackathons are crazy, exciting, exhausting, and awesome events where our DevMountain students get the first taste of the hacker lifestyle. DevMountain Hackathons are open to the public development community, and DevMountain students/alumni/faculty. It is a unique experience combining junior, mid, and experienced developers to create a truly one of a kind community. We invite one and all to come hack at DevMountain's Salt Lake City location all night!

Throughout the night we are going to have activities, food, code, drinks, prizes, awards, and giveaways. There will be a lot going on, including a local artist graffiting a mural throughout the night! Dinner will be provided by (TBA), and snacks, drinks, and goodies will be available to all in attendance throughout the night/morning.

Students
Students attending the Hackathon will be working on their specific DevMountain course projects. There will be mentors and instructors on hand and on call to help students make great progress on their projects. Many students make more progress during the Hackathon than over the course of a few days or even a week of normal class time.
 
Alumni/Others
All alumni or other coders who want to participate are welcome to come. They won't have access to mentors/instructors like the students will, but we'll provide a fun atmosphere to come and code. There are no assigned projects or groups. Come work on your personal project, bring your team, or create a new crew at the event. Anything is possible.
 
All developers are invited to come and code alongside other like-minded hackers. Come out for an awesome time! Check back often for updates to this Eventbrite page to see updated guests, events, and prizes.
