 Join Augusta Locally Grown and the Clubhou.se in downtown Augusta to explore ways in which sustainability and technology intersect to improve our local food system overall.
Partake in an intellectually satisfying, gastronomically-elegant, farm-to-table meal created by the dynamic duo of Chef Charleen Tinley and Chef Jonathan Marks, formerly of the Roosters Beak.
Learn about the intersection of microbes and wellness from speaker Dr. Steve Fountain.  He is a trained physician and interdisciplinary scholar, Dr. Fountain has lectured and published in both the sciences and humanities in the US and abroad. His current research interests revolve around emerging paradigms of disease and wellness, fertility and sterility, and the importance of microbiota in macro-environments such as the human body. He is also the co-owner of Icebox farm, and the co-founder of Icebox Ministries.
We’ll kick it all off with a competitive Good Food Hack A Thon the night before!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No age requirements.  Students are encouraged to attend 
 
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Free off-street parking is available 
 
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring your laptop for the Hackathon.  Bring your open mind to the Socratic Conversation.  Bring your appitite to the farm-to-table dinner

No refunds but you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else.
