Welcome to the first Green Hack – Open Innovation for Climate where two different worlds come together! Be part of it!
As a Satellite of this year´s Tech Open Air, taking place on the 13th – 15th July 2016, Openers organizes together with the Zeitbild Stiftung, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety and the NKI the Green Hack – Open Innovation for Climate.
WHEN? 15th – 16th July 2016
What's in it for my team? Win an IBM Global Entrepreneur Credit Package - worth 120.000 Euro! - and a wildcard for mentoring sessions at Startupbootcamp Berlin - plus a very special, secret prize to accelerate your business. 
WHY? The majority of young people (13 to 20 years old people) is not interested in environment and climate protection so it’s time to sensitize them! The best idea to change this is indeed to motivate and engage them!
Some teens will therefore have the chance to participate in the Hackathon, develop their own ideas and implement them with you - a bunch of different people like developers, designers and mentors!
The goal of the whole event is to develop an app which allows not just young people but everyone to save CO2 in their everyday life. You as a creater has the unique possibility to get direct feedback from your peer group or your customers.
You can register alone or as an already existing team. We’re looking for people who are motivated to solve a real problem, passionate about what they are doing and capable of working and developing together with the next generation!
We’ll provide food, drinks, a whole lot of fun and very (VERY!) special secret prizes for the winner team!
The event is free of charge but the spots are limited, first come, first served. More info and detailed program will be announced soon.
