Black Girls CODE at Capital One! (Free Workshop)
Capital One has invited Black Girls CODE Tech Divas to a special workshop at their offices on Wednesday, July 13th.

Capital One is offering a 1-day program to expose students to technology and foster a focus on software engineering.  Students will work through a lesson that teaches fundamentals of software engineering through hands-on learning.

<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Software Engineers from Capital One will provide instruction.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Students are asked to attend a 1-day hackathon on Capital One’s campus.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Students should be engaged and interested in learning about software engineering.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Prior exposure or experience is not required.</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Students will be provided hardware to use in software development.</LI>

This program is designed for girls age 11-14. 
Space is limited to sign up soon to secure your spot! 
There is no cost to attend this event.  Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Refund Policy: Any refund requires a written request at least 24 hours prior to the event date. Full refunds will only be provided if request is received 7 days prior to the scheduled event date. Any request submitted within 7 days will not qualify for a cash refund, however students will be given credit for fees paid to attend a future session. After 24 hours prior to the event date, no refund requests will be granted.
