Have you ever wanted to try ceramics on the pottery wheel? Now is your chance :)
In this workshop, you will learn the basic techniques of throwing, and glaze your ceramic piece!
IMPORTANT:
This workshop is 2 hours and limited to 2 people.
Our studio currently has one pottery wheel, so if you come with a group of two, you will take turns on the wheel. Each person should take about 15-20 minutes on the wheel so waiting will not be too long.
You will have plenty of time to receive help from the instructor. You will be provided with all of the materials needed to make your own ceramic piece! During the workshop, you will create and glaze your work in one session. After the workshop is over, your piece will be fired in a ceramic oven at 1150°C and your work will be ready to pick-up within two to four weeks :)
Whether you are a beginner wanting to see if you’d like pottery or wanting to get back into ceramics, this is a perfect workshop for you!
All classes will be taught in English.
This workshop is suitable for everyone between the ages of 16-110.
