Are you interested in learning about honey bees?

Do you want to keep your own hives and become a beekeeper, or are you just curious about what that involves?

Then this is the course for you.

This course will introduce you to the fundamentals of beekeeping.

We welcome anyone who has an interest in the honey bee.

In Part 1 we will start learning the basics about honey bees, beekeeping equipment, and the various ways to get bees.

In Part 2 we will continue our bee education learning how to manage a honey bee colony through all of the seasons of your first year. This will include more details of how a honey bee colony works, bee diseases and pests, and everyone's favorite topic....honey!

Each session in the series will cover a different topic or subject in beekeeping, so you'll want to attend them all. There is a LOT to learn, and you'll have fun doing it!

Thanks and have a bee-autiful day.
