Southern California’s long-running, annual Elvis Presley Birthday Bash returns to The Write-Off Room on January 8, 2025!
Started in 1986 by iconic SoCal roots musician James Intveld, and carried on by his colleague, Ronnie Mack, and Los Angeles raconteur, Art Fein, the Elvis Presley Birthday Bash has enjoyed residencies at venues big and small all over L.A., including The Palomino Club, Handlebars Saloon, The House of Blues, Club Lingerie, The Music Machine, The Avalon Hollywood, The Fonda Theatre, and The EchoPlex.
Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter Billy Vera will host the Bash this year along with 20+ acts, most backed by Mack’s legendary Barn Dance Band, featuring John McDuffie on guitar, Paul Marshall on bass, Marty Rifkin on steel guitar, Skip Edwards on piano and David Raven on drums.
