Featuring eight private gardens in the Briargate and Old Farm neighborhoods plus the Old Farm Community Garden. The gardens include a mini homestead with a food forest, raised beds, berry and fruit plants; native/xeric/ waterwise landscapes, artistic statuary and artwork, permaculture, rainwater harvesting, beekeeping, chickens and greenhouses.

Colorado Master Gardeners will be located in each garden answering your questions about the plants you see there as well as providing information about good gardening practices.

The garden tour booklet contains information about our garden center sponsors plus coupons.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use my paper or Eventbrite ticket?

Present your paper ticket(s) or show your electronic ticket(s) and you will be given a tour brochure with a map that will show you the location of each garden.

How do I gain access to the other gardens after submitting my ticket?

You will receive a wristband at the first garden which will give you entrance into each garden. If the wristband is not removed, you can enter the gardens both days.

Do children pay for a ticket?

Children 12 years and under do not require a ticket but should obtain and wear a wristband.

May I obtain paper tickets rather than an Eventbrite electronic ticket?

Tickets will be sold at select garden centers in Colorado Springs and Monument beginning May 1, 2025 by cash or check only.

How do find out the locations for all the homes? Only 2 are shown on Eventbrite site.

When you come to either of the 2 homes listed on your Eventbrite ticket, you will receive a tour booklet with a map to all the homes, plus descriptions about the gardens written by the homeowners.

Who benefits from the ticket sales?

El Paso County Extension programs related to horticulture, agriculture, food safety/nutrition and youth development.

Will the tour still be held if the weather is bad?

The gardens will be open rain or shine! Refunds will not be offered due to inclement weather. Be prepared with water to drink, a hat and an umbrella. After all, it is Colorado!

What accommodations are made for assisted mobility needs?

No extra accommodations are made. Walkers, wheelchairs or strollers may or may not be accommodated in the private gardens.
