THE BUILD CLUB is an informal get-together for professionals across the built environment, including designers, consultants and contractors
We look forward to hosting Bricks & Beer with Lowie Bricks and Lyons & Annoot, bringing together people from across the built environment for an evening of discussion, learning and informal networking.
The evening will focus on one of the industry's biggest challenges: reducing the carbon impact of construction. Lowie Bricks and Lyons & Annoot will share their work around innovative low-carbon brick products, the manufacturing process, lessons learned and how alternative materials can help shape a more sustainable future for the built environment.
Alongside the discussion, we’ll also have a beer tasting running throughout the evening, hosted by a Certified Beer Sommelière, giving everyone the chance to sample and learn a little more about a selection of beers as the evening progresses.
The format is simple:
- Informal networking drinks and beer tasting from 5:30pm
- Live presentation from Lowie Bricks and Lyons & Annoot from 6:45pm – 7:30pm
- Followed by food, drinks, beer tasting and conversation for the remainder of the evening
Drop in for an hour or stay for the whole evening. The aim is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where people can meet others across architecture, development, construction, engineering, planning, investment and the wider built environment.
