& Rise is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower women and girls to be the ultimate versions of themselves despite their adversities. & Rise offers free counseling for women in Illinois, free in-person (in Chicago) and virtual support groups for women trauma survivors, and an array of personal and professional development events and fundraisers.&Rise offers many women's empowerment events and the main intention is to inspire, empower, and motivate women to be the best version of themselves both personally and professionally. Thanksgiving and the holiday season can often feel overwhelming, isolating, or triggering, especially for survivors of trauma and abuse. The pressure to feel "thankful" or spend time with family can be deeply difficult when navigating pain or complex relationships.At &amp;Rise, we want you to know you don't have to carry this burden alone. Join us for a special, confidential support group dedicated to creating a safe and warm space to find community, grounding, and genuine support during the holiday.What we will focus on:<ul><li>Creating space for all feelings—joy, grief, stress, or relief—without judgment.</li><li>Practical tools and discussion on how to navigate family dynamics, obligations, and protect your peace during the season.</li><li>Sharing in a supportive community where your story is seen and validated.</li><li>Learning and practicing techniques to stay regulated and present throughout the day.</li></ul>If you are a woman survivor of trauma or abuse and need a place to feel seen and supported this Thanksgiving, please join us. You are your own home, and we are here to hold space for you.
