She has worked as a freelance journalist for over 20 years and has written on wildlife conservation, Southeast Asia cinema and identity politics. She was previously a publicist with the Singapore International Film Festival, and a co-founder of a nonprofit documenting the testimonies of genocide victims at the UN-backed Khmer Rouge Tribunal in Cambodia.Christopher QuekNever the kind of writer to start bios with his name, Christopher Quek believes that challenging convention is the first step to breakthroughs. A spoken word poet by practice, his standout performances include the Grand Poetry Tournament (2023), WEAVE (2024), and Out &amp; Up (2025). Chris steadfastly holds that one need not be a good poet per se, but a writer who produces great pieces.
