10th Annual Science Hack Day Eindhoven:You are kindly invited to this adventurous survival of creative minds, and indulge into the extravagant experiments and daring prototyping as developed by teams of artists, engineers, designers, architects, hackers, students, developers, startups…This year we will be entertaining the idea of creating a fully communicative platform for a Rover... Imagine working on creating accessories, open communication integration, web development, popular vote decisions, Virtual Reality exploring mars with your own eyes through Rover mapping and nearly anything else you believe the rover can perform.May 29th- 30th 2021MAD emergent art center Eindhoven Netherlands will work to transition Science Hack Day to an online workspace utilizing online tools and digital spaces. This directly corresponds to one of the two main event themes "Digital Reality" perhaps thinking of a future for work and home solutions and the second theme "Extensions of a Mars Rover". Perhaps imagining a virtual reality exploration based on a 3D model- choosing which way to move and then being out voted!. Creating this years event has pushed the boundaries of the MAD Team as well, thinking of common applications that team members have used and which would be applicable to an online Science Hack Day Event essentially creating a Hack in itself. Of course there will also be wild cards within these two themes. This Year looks to be a challenge unlike any other year! All communications will be via MIRO and ZOOM, teams will be able to communicate and use their own devices, and use their own tools and applications. While we are looking forward to being Wow'd by the creative results everyone develops, we have also provided a couple of tool to 3D render designs.
